Autumn Apple Bread Recipe

  1. Cream shortening and sugar till light and fluffy; beat in Large eggs.
  2. Sift next 4 ingredients.
  3. Add in alternately with apples to egg mix.
  4. Stir in lemon rind and nuts.
  5. Bake in floured, greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan in preheated 350 oven for approximately 40 to 50 min.
  6. Cold before slicing.
