Aunt Rose's Strawberry Pie

• 1 baked pie shell
• 2 -3 pints strawberries
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup water
• 3 tablespoons cornstarch
• 1 pinch salt
• 4 tablespoons strawberry gelatin

1. Clean and drain strawberries; arrange in cooled pie shell.
2. In a sauce pan, combine sugar, water, cornstarch and salt.
3. Cook, stirring often, until thickened.
4. Add strawberry jello.
5. Pour over berries.
6. Chill.
