Chicken And Rice
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 Tbsp. poultry seasoning
- 1 c. uncooked rice
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1 green pepper, cut in narrow strips
- 1 can chicken rice soup
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- Line a pan with foil.
- Place butter in pan and place in the oven at 400u0b0 until butter melts, evenly coating the bottom of the pan.
- In a bag, place the flour, salt, paprika, seasoning and pepper.
- Place chicken in and shake until it is well coated. Place the coated chicken, skin side down, in the pan.
- Bake for 25 minutes at 400u0b0.
- Cook the rice. Take the chicken out of the pan. Place the rice on the bottom of the pan. Add the onions and green pepper.
- Place the chicken, skin side up, in the pan.
- Pour the soup over all and bake, uncovered, 45 minutes at 400u0b0.
- Use a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Serves 4.
