Sizzling Steak Fajitas
- 3 cups thick and chunky salsa
- 2 cups A.1. Original Sauce
- 3 qt. beef flank steaks, thinly sliced Safeway 1 lb For $5.99 thru 02/09
- 3 qt. onions, thinly sliced King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 2 qt. green peppers, cut into strips
- 6 Tbsp. oil
- 48 each flour tortillas (8 inch), warmed
- Combine salsa and steak sauce.
- Pour 1-1/2 cups of the salsa mixture (or 1/4 cup for trial recipe) over steak in shallow nonreactive pan; cover.
- Refrigerate 1 hour to marinate.
- Saute onions and peppers in large skillet on medium-high heat 3 min.
- or until crisp-tender.
- Remove from skillet; cover to keep warm.
- Remove steak from marinade; discard marinade.
- Add steak to same skillet; cook 5 min.
- for medium doneness, stirring frequently.
- Add remaining salsa mixture and vegetables; cook until heated through, stirring occasionally.
- Spoon 1/2 cup of the meat mixture down center of each of 2 tortillas; roll up.
