Pizza Egg Rolls!
- 1 packages egg roll wrappers
- 1 packages pepperoni
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 oregano seasoning
- 1 packages shredded colby jack cheese (may omit)
- 1 packages shredded asiago or mozzarella cheese
- 1 miscellaneous pizza toppings of your choice
- 1 cup water
- 20 oz vegetable oil
- Lay egg roll wrappers flat with point to the top of your work space.
- Using a tablespoon, add tomato sauce across wrapper.
- Top with a heavy dash of oregano.
- Layer about 5-6 pieces of pepperoni and other toppings of your choice.
- Top with cheeses.
- TIP: Remember, less is more in your egg rolls.
- Too much will make it hard to roll and cook.
- Ready to roll?
- Fold bottom corner over ingredients.
- Next fold sides in toward the center.
- Brush top corner with a small amount of water.
- This will seal your egg roll.
- Now, roll from bottom to top.
- Let's fry that baby!
- Oil should be preheated on medium heat in a small pot.
- Egg rolls will be cooked fully when edges start to turn a light brown.
- (about 2-3 minutes)
