Creamy Pumpkin Dip

  1. Mix together cream cheese and sugar.
  2. Add pumpkin pie filling, and stir until well blended.
  3. Note: If desired, make your own pumpkin pie filling, adjusting the amount of pure pumpkin used based on the amount of pumpkin flavor you want.
  4. You can also make your own pumpkin pie spice and adjust the amounts of spices to taste.
  5. Dip ginger cookies in it and enjoy!
  6. This is also very tasty with sliced apples.
  7. Refrigerate any leftovers.
  8. If using a small carved out pumpkin for serving, transfer to airtight storage container before refrigerating.
