Five Pounds Creamy Fudge
- 2 lb. sugar (4 1/2 c.)
- 1 (12 oz.) can milk (evaporated)
- 1 c. oleo or butter or 1 each (2 sticks)
- 13 oz. jar Marshmallow Creme
- 3 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
- 2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
- Combine sugar, milk and oleo or butter in saucepan.
- Stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
- Bring to a boil and boil 8 to 9 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent scorching.
- In large bowl, combine Marshmallow Creme and chocolate morsels.
- Pour boiling sugar mix over them and mix with an electric mixer, starting on low and increasing to medium until it is thoroughly mixed.
- Add nuts and blend in.
- Pour into buttered 13 x 9-inch pan. Refrigerate until set.
- Cut into pieces.
- Stack into container in layers with wax paper.
- Store in the refrigerator.
