Mexican Chili Goo(Stew)
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 c. onion, chopped
- 3 large cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 large jalapeno, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 4 tsp. cumin
- 2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. coriander
- 2 c. chicken broth
- 1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 (16 oz.) can garbanzo beans
- 1 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 3 c. cooked chicken
- 1/2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
- 1 tsp. salt
- Tabasco to taste
- tortillas, sour cream and cheese
- Saute onion, spices, broth and tomatoes.
- Bring to boil and simmer for 1 hour.
- Add beans; simmer 30 minutes longer. Meanwhile, saute green peppers.
- Add peppers, chicken, chocolate, salt and Tabasco.
- Serve in a tortilla lined bowl; top with grated cheese, sour cream and black olives.
