Apple And Raspberry Brulee Recipe
- 1 1/2 lb Cooking apples - peeled, cored and sliced (675g)
- 2 Tbsp. Caster sugar, (2 to 3)
- 1/2 tsp Schwartz Grnd Cinnamon
- 8 ounce Raspberries, (225g)
- 1/2 pt Whipping cream, (300ml)
- 1 x 1/2 pint ful fat fromage frais, (300ml)
- 4 Tbsp. Demerara sugar
- 1/4 tsp Schwartz Grnd Cinnamon
- Place the apples, sugar and Cinnamon in a large pan with 2 - 3 tsp water.
- Cook till soft.
- Mix in the raspberries and leave to cold.
- Place the fruit in a large ovenproof dish or possibly individual ramekin dishes.
- Whip the cream, gently mix in the fromage frais and spoon this mix over the apple.
- Refrigeratewell, preferably overnight.
- Mix the demerara sugar with the Cinnamon and sprinkle proportionately over the cream's surface.
- Place the dessert under a warm grill till brown and bubbly.
- Allow to cold before serving.
