Green Olives Recipe

  2. Several days in advance place olives on flat surface and crush them lightly with a flat mallet.
  3. Crush only till flesh is gently broken.
  4. Put olives in glass jar.
  5. 2.
  6. Add in herbs and spices, garlic, vinegar and anchovies.
  7. Add in sufficient water to fill jar.
  8. Seal tightly and shake well.
  9. Let stand at room temperature for several days.
  10. Chill.
  11. They will keep for weeks in refrigerator, but let them stand at room temperature before serving.
