Broiled Flank Steak Pinwheels

  1. Prepare stuffing according to package directions.
  2. Lay out meat on cutting board; sprinkle with tenderizer.
  3. Season as desired and beat with tenderizer hammer to a rectangular shape. Spread cooked stuffing on meat about 1/2-inch thick and roll meat like a jelly roll, being sure to roll with grain of meat running lengthwise.
  4. Push toothpicks all the way into roll to hold together.
  5. Space toothpicks 1-inch apart starting at 1/2-inch from one end.
  6. Cool roll in refrigerator 1 hour.
  7. Remove roll from refrigerator and cut into 1-inch thick pinwheel slices.
  8. Baste meat heavily on both sides with A.1. sauce.
  9. Place wheels on cookie sheet and broil or barbecue for 7 minutes per side.
  10. Serves 4 to 6.
