Grilled Skirt Steaks with Spring Onions and Smoky Mexican BBQ Sauce
- Smoky Mexican BBQ Sauce
- 2 cups KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
- Skirt Steaks
- 16 each beef skirt steaks (5 oz.)
- 1-1/2 cups canola oil, divided
- 16 each spring onions, cut in half lengthwise
- 2 tsp. salt
- 64 sprigs fresh cilantro, trimmed
- Smoky Mexican BBQ Sauce: Process ingredients in food processor until well blended.
- Skirt Steaks: Brush each steak with 1 Tbsp.

- Grill on high heat 3 min.
- ; turn.
- Brush each steak with 1 Tbsp.
- BBQ Sauce.
- Grill to desired doneness, turn and brush with 1 Tbsp.
- additional BBQ sauce.
- Let rest before serving.
- Meanwhile, brush onions with remaining oil; season with salt.
- Grill 5 to 6 min.
- or until tender, turning frequently.
- Serve 1 steak with 2 spring onion halves and 4 cilantro sprigs.
