taisen's two bean chili in a crockpot

  1. drain the cans of beans.
  2. sometimes I leave a little of the kidney bean liquid
  3. start the crock pot on high.
  4. add in the tomato sauce, both beans and the McCormick seasoning.
  5. stir and cover.
  6. get a frying pan.
  7. put the hamburger meat in it and turn the heat on to medium high.
  8. sprinkle black pepper, red pepper and garlic.
  9. cook until the meat is no longer pink
  10. drain the grease.
  11. turn the heat down to low medium and add about 1/2 a cup of water then add the taco seasoning.
  12. mix well and when the meat soaks up all the water turn the heat off and add the meat into your crock pot
  13. mix the meat and cover the crock pot
  14. chop up your onion anyway you like.
  15. add them in stir and cover
  16. let this cook for about an hour.
  17. then taste.
  18. if it needs more spice use whatever you like until you feel it is spicy enough.
  19. cook all day long.
  20. about 4 to 5 hours
  21. slice up some red/purple onion and set aside.
  22. grate cheese and set aside.
  23. butter the bread or get the cornbread ready
  24. top with cheese and onion if you like it that way
  25. serve and enjoy
