Chicago Italian Beef Sandwiches
- 4 lb sirloin tip roast (boneless)
- 1 large jar of pepperoncinis
- 3 packages Italian dressing mix (packets by the salad dressing)
- 1 can beef broth
- 10 large Kaiser rolls (or hoagies if you prefer)
- 10 slice Provolone cheese
- Pour a little beef broth in the bottom of your crockpot.
- Put roast in and sprinkle dressing mix on top.
- Pour in jar of pepperoncinis (including juice) and remaining beef broth.
- If you needed to buy a couple smaller cuts of meat to equal 4 lbs, just layer them like this.
- Cook in crockpot on low for 8-10 hours.
- After meat is cooked, gently shred with two forks.
- Then preheat boiler.
- Put meat on rolls and top with cheese.
- Broil until cheese melts, 3 or 4 minutes.
- Enjoy!
