Carrot Soup
- 1 lb hamburger
- 12 cup onion, chopped
- 12 cup green pepper, chopped
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 cup celery, sliced
- 2 34 cups carrots, grated
- 1 quart tomato juice
- 12 cup water
- 12 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 12 teaspoons pepper
- 18 teaspoon marjoram
- 2 cups cream of celery soup (i use a 10 oz condensed soup can with 1/2 cup water)
- grated mozzarella cheese, for topping
- Brown hamburger and onion.
- Drain.
- Mix all ingredients in a big pot.
- Stir occasionally.
- Simmer until carrots are desired tenderness.
- Do Not Boil.
- Top with grated mozzarella cheese if desired.
