Miracle Fudge
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter or 1 stick oleo
- 1 small can evaporated milk
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
- 1 (7 oz.) jar Marshmallow Creme
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- walnut halves or pecans
- Combine sugar, butter, milk and salt in 4-quart mixing bowl. Microwave, uncovered, on High for 3 minutes. Stir until well blended.
- Microwave, uncovered, on High for 6 or 7 minutes or until mixture boils and forms a soft ball in cold water.
- Add chocolate pieces and stir until melted.
- Fold in Marshmallow Creme and vanilla until well blended.
- Pour into a buttered 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
- Refrigerate several hours until firm.
- Cut into squares.
- Top each square with walnut halves.
- Makes 72 squares.
