No Bake Fruit Cake
- 1 lb. walnuts
- 1 lb. pecans
- 4 oz. red cherries
- 4 oz. green cherries
- 8 oz. pineapple, cut into pieces
- 1/2 lb. dates
- 1 c. orange juice
- 1 lb. marshmallows
- 1 lb. graham crackers
- Place nuts, cherries, pineapple and dates into a large mixing bowl; mix well.
- Put orange juice in a saucepan over low heat or boiling water and add marshmallows.
- Stir until all marshmallows are melted and sauce is smooth.
- Crush crackers (or put in blender) or use graham cracker crumbs.
- Pour juice and marshmallow mixture over crackers; stir until they are mixed well, all crumbs must be moistened.
- Mix crumb mixture with the fruits and mix well.
- Line a tube pan with wax paper, make sure that the tube pan is completely covered with wax paper inside.
- Pack the fruit cake mixture down into the tube pan, pressing down good as you put in the mixture.
- Cover with wrapping paper or put in an airtight container.
- Put in refrigerator for 5 hours at least before slicing to serve.
