Shrimp With Linguine and Fiery Honey
- 1 lb jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 14 cup freshly sqeezed lime juice
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 14 cup butter
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 lime, zest of
- 14 teaspoon pepper
- 1 lb linguine, cooked
- Wash the shrimp under cold water, drain, pat dry and transfer to a large bowl.
- Add lime juice and salt, set aside.
- In a large sauce pan heat on medium and add the oil.
- Cook the shrimp 2 minutes on each side, remove from pan.
- Try to keep the shrimp warm!
- In the same pan, melt the butter,stir in the honey,chile power,lime zest and pepper.
- Add the cooked Linguine and shrimp, mix well and serve hot.
