Tomato Lima Chowder Recipe
- 1 (16 ounce.) can tomatoes, cut up
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn lima beans
- 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn whole kernel corn
- 1/3 c. minced onion
- 2 tbsp. snipped parsley
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Dash of nutmeg
- 2 tbsp. butter
- Dissolve bouillon in 1 c. warm water.
- Add in tomatoes, beans, corn, onion, parsley, and garlic.
- Cover; bring to a boil, then simmer 20 min.
- In a jar, shake lowfat milk, flour, salt, and nutmeg.
- Stir into simmering veggie mix.
- Cook and stir till thick and bubbly.
- Add in butter and serve warm.
