Malted Milk Ball (Whoppers) Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 350F (180C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, salt and baking soda.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, white sugar and malt powder until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well.
  5. Gradually mix in the flour mixture and mix until just combined.
  6. Stir in the chopped candy.
  7. Chill in refrigerator 1 hour.
  8. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  9. Bake for 9-10 minutes - the tops won't look completely set.
  10. Let stand on the cookie sheet for 2 minutes then remove to wire rack to completely cool.
