Corn En Casserole

  1. Place green pepper, onion and 2 tablespoons butter in saucepan.
  2. Cook gently until tender.
  3. Add flour and seasonings; stir until smooth.
  4. Add milk; cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
  5. Crush 1 cup corn flakes; add with corn and egg to creamed mixture.
  6. Turn into greased 1 1/2-quart casserole (or 6 custard cups).
  7. Melt remaining tablespoon of butter; pour over remaining 1 cup corn flakes.
  8. Toss lightly.
  9. Sprinkle over top of corn.
  10. Bake at 400u0b0 for 30 minutes (20 minutes for custard cups).
  11. Makes 6 servings.
