Pat's Pork Chop Oven Dinner

  1. Trim fat from chops.
  2. Heat oil in skillet.
  3. Combine flour, salt, dash pepper & garlic salt.
  4. Dip chops in mixture.
  5. Brown chops in hot oil, about 15 minutes per side.
  6. In 3 Qt casserole, combine water, sherry, parsley, cloves, pepper & bay leaf.
  7. Generously sprinkle green beans & potatoes with salt, place in liquid.
  8. Arrange chops on top; add onions.
  9. Cover Casserole.
  10. Bake at 350F for 1 1/4 hours till meat/veggies are tender, basting once or twice.
  11. Remove bay leaf.
  12. Trim with parsley, if desired.
