Hearty Corn Chowder

  1. In large, heavy saucepan, stock pot or Dutch oven, saute the onion, celery, green pepper and mushrooms in the vegetable oil until the onion is lightly browned.
  2. Add the turkey smoked sausage and continue cooking for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the diced potatoes, water, salt, pepper and caraway seed.
  4. Simmer for 45 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
