Asian Orange Pork
- 1 pound Lean Pork Chops
- 1 teaspoon Crushed Garlic
- 1 cup Orange Juice
- 1/4 cups Soy Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar, Packed
- 2 teaspoons Cornstarch
- 4 teaspoons Water
- 1 dash Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 cup Steamed Broccoli
- 1 cup Steamed Sugar Snap Peas
- 1 cup Water Chestnuts
- Cube pork chops.
- Spray skillet with Pam and saute the garlic.
- Then add pork and brown cubes until cooked through.
- Remove pork from pan.
- Mix up the orange juice, soy sauce, and brown sugar and add it to your skillet.
- Bring to a boil and reduce for 2 minutes.
- Mix cornstarch and water in small bowl and then whisk it into the orange juice mixture.
- Add red pepper flakes and stir the mixture until it is thickened.
- Return pork and your chopped veggies to pan and simmer for 2 additional minutes to coat meat and vegetables.
- * Use whatever stir-fry type veggies you like.
- They do need to be pre-steamed and chopped ahead of time so that you can just throw them into the sauce at the end of the process.
