Heartland Vegetable Chowder

  1. Melt margarine in large saucepan on medium heat.
  2. Add flour; stir with whisk until blended.
  3. Cook 2 min., stirring constantly.
  4. Gradually stir in milk, then water until blended; cook 5 min.
  5. or until thickened, stirring constantly.
  6. Add cheese; cook and stir 3 min.
  7. or until cheese is completely melted and sauce is well blended.
  8. Stir in remaining ingredients; cover.
  9. Simmer on medium-low heat 10 min.
  10. or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
