Spanish Casserole
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened only
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 chopped onion
- Season-All seasoning to taste
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
- 1 large can refried beans, warmed
- 1 can Hormel chilli (no beans)
- 1 large pkg. Cheddar cheese or taco cheese (2 or 3 c.)
- Spread softened cream cheese on the bottom of 1 (10 x 13-inch) baking pan.
- Cook ground beef in skillet with onion.
- Add Season-All.
- Drain off fat and add taco seasoning mix, dry, to meat mixture.
- Pour meat on top of cheese in pan.
- Spread evenly. Add refried beans to top of meat mixture.
- Add chilli.
- Spread on top of meat mixture.
- Shred Cheddar cheese or taco cheese.
- Spread on top of meat mixture.
- Cover and cook 20 minutes.
- Take cover off; cook 5 minutes longer.
- Serve hot.
