Sicilian Stuffing
- 3 pounds ground chuck
- 1/2 pound hard salami, chopped
- 1 cup rice, cooked
- 4 eggs, hard boiled and chopped
- 1 (14- ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 8 ounces Romano cheese, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- oregano, dried, to taste
- In a large pan over medium- high heat brown the ground chuck.
- Add onions and garlic and cook until translucent.
- Add remaining ingredients, and season with salt pepper and oregano,
- Either stuff into a turkey and cook to an internal temperature of 165 degrees or put in a casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes or until lightly browned on top.
