Grilled Greek Burgers
- 1 lb hamburger 80/20 mix
- 1/4 cup dried bread crumbs, plain
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp lawry's seasoned salt
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp dried rubbed tyme
- Mix dry ingredients breaking up the dried herbs as much as possible.
- Especially the dried rosemary.
- Mix the hamburger, bread crumbs and dry seasoning well and make four equal size patty with a dimple in the center of each.
- Refrigerate 4 to 24 hours.
- Set up your grill for Direct Heat.
- Grilled burgers until the juices begin to collect on the top.
- Flip over and continue cooking until well done.
- Top off with any cheese you like (I used smoked provolone) and let it melts just before removing from the grill.
- Serve on toasted buns with your favorite condiments.
- Pesto aioli works really well with these burgers.
