Deetta's English Toffee

  1. Placed chopped pecans in 8 x 8 inch pan.
  2. (I spray with Pam.
  3. ).
  4. Mix sugar, water, and vanilla in saucepan.
  5. Cook until a light brown - about 10 minutes - hard crack.
  6. Pour over nut in pan.
  7. Top with chocolate bars.
  8. Let sit until set.
  9. Break into pieces, and store in airtight container.
