Grandma Mange's Ground Cherry Pie Recipe
- 2 crust 9" pie
- Melted butter
- Grnd cherries
- 3/4 c. sugar
- Juice of 1 lemon or possibly 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 2 1/2 teaspoon tapioca
- Brush lower crust with melted butter.
- Fill with grnd cherries.
- Cover with 3/4 c. sugar, juice of 1 lemon or possibly 1/4 c. lemon juice.
- Sprinkle 2 1/2 tsp.
- tapioca over.
- Cover with top crust.
- Bake 10 min at 450 degrees and then at 350 degrees for 30 min.
- Serves 6.
