Chocolate Fudge Topping
- 3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup corn syrup
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 4 squares unsweetened Hershey's chocolate
- In a heavy medium kettle or pot, over medium heat, combine all ingredients, stirring well, until the chocolate is melted.
- Continue stirring until the syrup cooks into a smooth, silky substance.
- (Be careful not to have too hot of a flame because it will scorch easily.)
- Cool, and store in a tight covered container in the refrigerator.
- Serve cold, or slightly heated.
- *You can also use this syrup for a quick chocolate milk drink.
- Just stir in 1 tablespoon into your milk glass.
