Sakura Cheese Hanpen for Girls' Day or a Cherry-Blossom Viewing Picnic

• 1 Hanpen
• 1 slice Sliced cheese
• 1 dash Sesame seeds
• 1 Red food coloring
• 1 if desired Green peas

1. Cut the hanpen and cheese with a cherry-blossom shaped cookie cutter.
2. Dissolve a small amount of red food coloring with water.
3. Dip the hanpen from Step 1 in the coloring solution.
4. Cut the cherry-blossom shaped hanpen in half and sandwich the cheese slice between the two hanpen slices.
5. Decorate the cherry-blossom tops with sesame seeds.
6. Garnish with green peas if desired.
