Caramel Apple Noodle Kugel

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Cook noodles according to package directions.
  3. Drain.
  4. Combine milk, 1/4 cup butter and cream cheese in medium saucepan.
  5. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, 5-7 minutes or until smooth.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Combine 1/2 cup sugar, oil, lemon zest, orange zest, lemon juice, vanilla and nutmeg in bowl; mix well.
  8. Add eggs; mix well.
  9. Add cream cheese mixture; mix well.
  10. Stir in cooked noodles.
  11. Spoon into greased 13x9-inch pan.
  12. Combine apples, 3 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon in bowl.
  13. Spoon apple mixture over noodle mixture; gently pat apples into noodles.
  14. Combine corn flakes, 1/4 cup melted butter and brown sugar in bowl; sprinkle over apples.
  15. Bake 50-60 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  16. Cut into pieces; serve warm drizzled with caramel apple dip.
