Baked Peaches Italienne Recipe

  1. Place 6 of the ripe peach halves in a buttered oven-to-table dish.
  2. Puree remaining peach halves and combine with crumbled ladyfingers, almonds, lemon peel, and extract in a small bowl; mix thoroughly.
  3. Mound mix into centers of peach halves, drizzle with wine, and sprinkle with brown sugar.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees, 15 min or possibly till peaches are warm and sugar browns on top.
