Brownies With Poached Pears And Chocolate Sauce Recipe

  1. Place the sugar, water, lemon peel and vanilla bean in a large saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Lower the heat and simmer five min.
  4. Add in the pears.
  5. Cook for about 10 min or possibly till pears feel tender when pierced with the tip of a sharp knife.
  6. Let the pears cold in the syrup.
  7. When the pears are cold, peel them, cut them in half and remove the cores.
  8. To serve, cut each brownie piece in half.
  9. Place two pcs on each of eight plates.
  10. Place a scoop of vanilla ice cream between the pcs.
  11. Place a half pear partially over the ice cream.
  12. Drizzle with chocolate sauce.
  13. Garnish with some raspberries.
