Colette'S Taco Pie
- 1 pkg. refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 pkg. Frito chips
- 1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground beef or turkey
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
- 1 small can chopped olives
- 1 small can chopped green chilies
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- Line a pie pan with the opened crescent roll dough.
- Crunch 2 cups of Frito chips; set aside.
- Brown the ground meat and add seasoning mix, olives, chilies and 1 canful of water.
- Cook until liquid is absorbed.
- Layer over the crescent crust in this order: 1 cup chip crumbs, meat mixture, sour cream and grated cheese.
- Pat remaining cup of chip crumbs on top.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for about 30 minutes or until crust is browned.
- Serve with chopped lettuce, chopped tomatoes, avocado or guacamole and salsa.
- Makes 6 to 8 servings.
