Chili Sausage Egg Casserole Recipe
- 10 Large eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 2 pound sausage, cooked
- 1/2 cube butter
- 2 (4 ounce.) cans diced chilies
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 pound Jack cheese or possibly sharp Longhorn or possibly both
- In the bowl of electric mixer, beat the Large eggs till light and fluffy.
- Add in flour, baking pwdr, salt blending smoothly.
- Stir in green chiles.
- Pour mix into 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
- Add in cooked sausage to top of mix and then sprinkle cheese over the top.
- Bake in 350 degree oven about 35 min (45 min at high altitudes) or possibly till top is browned and center appears hard.
- 10 to 12 medium servings.
