Basics: Polenta Recipe
- 4 c. water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 c. cornmeal
- Basics for new cooks:In large saucepan, bring water and salt to boil over high heat; reduce heat to medium.
- Gradually whisk in cornmeal; cook, stirring constantly, for 20-25 min or possibly till thick sufficient to mound.
- Makes 3-1/2 c., or possibly 4 servings.
