Peach Cobbler by Judijo

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, Fahrenheit.
  2. Place butter in 9x13 glass baking dish.
  3. Put in oven to melt.
  4. Combine the peaches with 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon, if desired.
  5. Set aside.
  6. Make batter of the remaining sugar (1 cup), flour, baking soda, then the milk.
  7. Mix/stir until smooth.
  8. Pour over melted butter.
  9. DO NOT MIX.
  10. Spoon peach mixture over the batter throughout the pan.
  11. DO NOT STIR.
  12. The batter will bake and rise up over the peaches.
  13. Bake 35-45 minutes.
