Aunt Marie'S Chocolate Chip Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Sift flour, soda and salt together in a medium bowl.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Cream the butter.
  5. Add the brown sugar, vanilla and eggs; beat together in a large bowl.
  6. (Using a hand mixer here is great!
  7. If you have a Kitchenaide, wow!
  8. But a wooden spoon works well, too!)
  9. Add dry ingredients (a bit at a time) to the creamed mixture until well blended.
  10. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls on a wax paper lined cookie sheet.
  11. Bake at 350u0b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or so.
  12. Cool on rack.
