Holiday Spiced Apple Gelatin
- 4 cups thinly sliced peeled Granny Smith apples
- 3/4 cup water or apple juice
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Lemon Flavor Gelatin
- 1 ready-to-use graham cracker crumb crust (6 oz.)
- 1 cup thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
- Mix apples, 3/4 cup water, sugar and cinnamon in medium saucepan.
- Bring to boil on medium-high heat.
- Reduce heat to low; cook 5 min.
- or until apples are tender, stirring occasionally.
- Add 1/4 cup water to cornstarch; stir until well blended.
- Add to apple mixture; mix well.
- Return to boil; boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in gelatin until completely dissolved.
- Pour into crust.
- Refrigerate 4 hours or until set.
- Top each serving with 2 Tbsp.
- of the whipped topping.
