Arrabiata Sauce
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 4 clove garlic
- 2 red chillis, chopped
- 3 tomatoes
- 1 can chopped italian tomatoes
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 10 basil
- 50 ml hot water
- Heat the oil gently in a saucepan and add the sliced garlic and chillis
- Dice and add the chopped tomatoes and cook on a medium heat for 2 minutes
- Add the chopped tomatoes, sugar and salt with a splash of hot water and cook on a medium heat for 20 minutes
- Turn off the heat and add the basil, torn
- Add pasta of choice - with a splash of pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce
