Arrabiata Sauce

  1. Heat the oil gently in a saucepan and add the sliced garlic and chillis
  2. Dice and add the chopped tomatoes and cook on a medium heat for 2 minutes
  3. Add the chopped tomatoes, sugar and salt with a splash of hot water and cook on a medium heat for 20 minutes
  4. Turn off the heat and add the basil, torn
  5. Add pasta of choice - with a splash of pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce
