Chicken Macaroni Recipe
- 2 c. diced, cooked chicken
- 1 (7 ounce.) pkg. Creamettes, uncooked
- 1/2 pound grated cheddar cheese
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 2 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 green pepper, diced
- 1 sm. onion, chopped
- 1 (12 ounce.) jar pimento, diced
- 4 hard cooked Large eggs, coarsely minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 (5 ounce.) can water chestnuts, sliced
- Combine and mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
- Chill overnight, then turn into a shallow casserole (13x9) or possibly 2 small casseroles.
- Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
- Can substitute 2 (6 1/2 ounce.)
- cans tuna or possibly turkey for chicken.
