Sirloin Tips Creole Recipe
- 3 lbs. sirloin tips
- 4 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1/4 c. minced celery
- 1/4 c. minced green pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tbsp. minced parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 1 c. water
- 1/4 teaspoon chili pwdr
- In skillet, brown sirloin tips in butter.
- Remove meat and set aside.
- Add in onion, celery, peppers and garlic to skillet and saute/fry 5 min.
- Return sirloin tips to skillet along with remaining ingredients.
- Simmer 1 hour.
- Suggest serving warm over white rice.
- Serves 4-6.
