Fabulous Fargozas
- 1 1/2 c. cheeses (Cheddar or Mozzarella or some of each)
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 pinch onion salt (about 1/8 tsp.)
- 1 pinch garlic salt (about 1/8 tsp.)
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 c. melted butter
- Sift all dry ingredients into a bowl.
- Make a well in the center.
- In a separate bowl, beat egg with butter and stir into milk.
- Pour all at once into flour well.
- Stir just to moisten ingredients, adding cheeses (about 15 full circular strokes that scrape bottom of bowl; batter will look lumpy).
- Grease a baking sheet.
- Spoon lumps of batter onto baking sheet.
- Bake in a hot 425u0b0 oven for about 25 minutes or until well browned.
- Makes about a dozen rolls.
