Pear & Gorgonzola Focaccia

  1. Grease 12-inch pizza pan.
  2. Press bread dough into prepared pan, forming ridge around edge of pan.
  3. Brush with 1 tablespoon butter.
  4. Let rise in warm place 20 minutes or until double in size.
  5. Melt remaining butter in heavy 10-inch skillet until sizzling; add pear slices.
  6. Cook over medium heat 3 minutes, gently turning occasionally.
  7. Sprinkle with sugar.
  8. Continue cooking 4-6 minutes or until pears are tender.
  9. Heat oven to 400F.
  10. Place pears over dough; sprinkle with red pepper and rosemary.
  11. Bake 15-20 minutes or until crust is deep golden brown.
  12. Sprinkle with Gorgonzola; continue baking 2-3 minutes or until cheese begins to melt.
  13. Serve hot or warm.
