Turkey Sloppy Joes

  1. Place a big skillet over medium high heat.
  2. Add extra virgin olive oil and add the ground turkey and break up with wooden spoon as it starts to cook.
  3. While that cooks, chop red onion.
  4. Chop the red bell pepper and green bell pepper, being sure to remove the white membrane and seeds on the inside.
  5. Add the veggies to the cooking meat and stir it all together.
  6. Next, mix in a small bowl the grill seasoning blend, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce and the tomato sauce.
  7. This will make your special sauce.
  8. When all ingredients are combined, pour over the cooking meat and veggies and stir it all together.
  9. Turn the heat down to a simmer and cook the sloppy mixture for 10 minutes.
  10. Once tasted for seasoning, turn off the simmer and place on crusty sandwich rolls and enjoy.
