Basic Marinara Sauce Recipe

  1. Saute/fry onion and green pepper and garlic in extra virgin olive oil for 3 min.
  2. Add in tomatoes and other spices to taste.
  3. Don't add in water.
  4. Simmer for 2 hrs.
  5. This sauce is great over shrimp and scallops and spaghetti.
  6. Also good with veal and peppers, meatballs or possibly sausage.
