Sriracha and Calamari Burger

  1. Begin by forming your patty.
  2. Gently mix the ground sirloin, chuck, Sriracha sauce, and the cheese together.
  3. If you have a burger patty press, use it, otherwise make every attempt to make a darn good-looking patty.
  4. Season both sides with salt.
  5. Heat your charcoal and get your grill started.
  6. Get the grill grates nice and hot.
  7. Add your burger and get a great sear on it, roughly 4 minutes untouched, per side.
  8. Cook to your desired doneness.

  11. When the burger is ready, put in the bun, top with the fried calamari, drizzle with extra Sriracha sauce, and dig in.
  12. This burger is hard to beat.
  13. Its surf and turf at its finest, with a great salty heat from the Thai chili sauce, the great crunch from the calamari, and the juiciness from the ground meat.
  14. Lets just say this burger is a really great one, and is perfect for any tailgate.
