Cheesy Beef Taco Dip

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook beef and garlic until beef is browned.
  2. Drain fat.
  3. Stir in tomato sauce, taco seasoning, and hot sauce.
  4. Simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes.
  5. In a small bowl, toss cheese with flour.
  6. Add cheese to beef mixture, a little at a time, stirring just until melted.
  7. Transfer to a small crockpot or fondue pot to keep warm.
  8. Garnish, if desired, with sour cream, sliced green onions, chopped tomatoes, etc.
  9. Serve with sturdy tortilla chips.
